Christina Mallin

Consultant, Agricultural Value Chains

Christina is an agricultural value chain expert with nearly a decade of experience in the implementation of water, deforestation, and emission reduction projects in the Americas, Africa and Europe. Within agricultural value chains, Christina's focus has been on the identification of water risks, climate smart agriculture (CSA), climate action in supply chains, and scaling of conservation finance, drawing on her professional experience in Canada, the Netherlands, Mexico, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. At South Pole, Christina has helped lead strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives in the realm of conservation finance, driving South Pole's work as the platform coordinator for the Coalition of Private Investment in Conservation (CPIC).

She holds a B.Sc. in Environmental and BioResource Management from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna, Austria, and an M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University, NL.
