Daniel is an GIS expert, spatial planner and EV enthusiast from the Netherlands, based in Bangkok. He began his career planning public EV charging infrastructure for Dutch municipalities, using data-driven GIS tools. In 2017 he moved to Bangkok to develop a site selection method for EV fast charging infrastructure. Currently, Daniel works on the integration of e-mobility with renewable energy, energy storage and international carbon markets, with a focus on the fast-growing two-wheeler markets in Southeast Asia. His favourite part of working on the topic of e-mobility is that it creates big changes that affect many stakeholders and an urgency to adapt, allowing him to talk and work with a diverse range of people and organisations.
