Daniel works on South Pole's Climate Finance Advisory practices, which aim to de-risk private investment in the low carbon economy. He is currently the Project Manager for the City Finance Lab, Europe's first dedicated platform focused on supporting innovative financing solutions for green urban project. Daniel is also in charge of overseeing the development of an investment and necessities plan for the IADB and the Costa Rican government, which supports Costa Rica's strategy to implement the targets of its National Decarbonisation Plan. Prior to South Pole, Daniel worked on international affairs at the Mexican Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT). He holds a Degree in Political Science and Public Management, graduating with honours, and a Diploma in Governance and Climate Change Law, both from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
