Diana is South Pole Group's project manager and forest climate change policy expert based in Medellin, Colombia. She is a biologist with a MSc in Sustainable forestry coupled with experience gathered from various regions such as Latin America and South East Asia, mainly on forest and climate change issues. She has a solid research background in forest ecology, regeneration of native forests and forest economics in Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico. She has worked in multicultural environments within various sectors: multilateral, private, academic and non-governmental organisations. When away from her desk, she cannot stop thinking about forest, as she enjoys going out for hikes in the nature where she can hone her knowledge on botany and do some birdwatching.
