Elliott is a communications specialist with a focus on internal communications across South Pole's network of global offices and professionals. His past experience includes public sector climate policy development, intergovernmental relations, solar energy project development, and backcountry guiding. Originally from western Canada, he holds a M.Sc. Environmental Governance degree from the University of Freiburg, Germany, and has lived, worked, and studied in Canada, Germany, and Kenya.
