Mireia has over 12 years' experience in managing and implementing projects in the field of environment, sustainability, climate change and policy, with strong hands-on involvement in developing low-carbon strategies, building capacities, and developing training programmes.
At South Pole, Mireia is responsible for managing two multi-year, multi-million projects in the Southern Mediterranean region, including countries like Morocco, Jordan, Egypt and Tunisia, to enhance capacities for carbon markets, including policy developments under the Paris Agreement and Article 6 and GHG MRV. She has been in charge of managing stakeholder relations with donors, ministries and the project consortium and she has also contributed to the domestic and international dissemination of the progress and achievements of the project including an event at COP22 conference in Marrakesh.
