Nico is a climate science expert (PhD) and environmental scientist. At South Pole, he is the Product Development Manager in the Sustainability Risks and Opportunities Team. Using his expertise in physical climate risks, and climate and weather modelling, he develops new and innovative sustainability solutions for investors and corporates. He is leading the development of aninnovative tool which allows to assess physical and transition risks of investment portfolios. In addition, he uses his strong link with universities to include state-of-the-art research and data.
