Oscar leads CDR advisory in climate policy and finance at South Pole, where he advises industry leaders and senior policy-makers on carbon markets and industrial carbon management. He is the head of policy at the CCS+ Initiative, where he leads public engagement, and he participated in the Expert Group Meeting on Industrial Carbon Removal Methodologies to assist the European Commission in its work on the certification of carbon removals.
Oscar is a lead author of the WBCSD corporate guide on the responsible adoption of carbon removal, scientific publications on CDR (including a decision framework to adopt CDR portfolios), and carbon accounting guides for the adoption of technical CDR in the EU and the US.
