Thomas has 20+ years of international experience in climate action. He was a key member of South Pole's leadership team in Australia, working with private and public sector clients. He is responsible for developing carbon and biodiversity projects across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, drawing on South Pole's global leader role. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Until recently, he was a Board member of Climate-KIC Australia, a Knowledge Innovation Community creating a climate resilient Australia for all by catalyzing cross-sectoral responses to climate change and of Natural Carbon, an Australian carbon developer focusing on Indigenous fire management projects.
