Xuan Yang is Regional Director for South Pole's emission reduction projects in China and many other countries. He joined South Pole in 2009 and has extensive experience started working with Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), Gold Standard and Social Carbon Standards. He specialised in the environmental impacts of renewable energy and energy efficiency project development. He greatly enjoyed working with local communities when developing new projects. As well as managing a team of 7 technical consultants, he also advises clients on China's carbon emission trading schemes and corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting. His public speaking skills have allowed him to become a familiar face on the sustainability events circuit.
