The project is a large hydro power station with install capacity of 500MW and a dam with 114 meters high. The project provides clean energy to the local community and improves poverty alleviation in the region.
The project activities have also contributed to provide improved local transportation and communications systems, employment opportunities, as well as enhanced investments in the local area which has benefitted the local economy.
