Léonard Vonlanthen leads the heavy industry segment for South Pole Europe where he helps companies to develop strategies and projects in order to reduce and capture their hard to abate emissions. He has co-developed the NextGen CDR Facility, the world's largest purchase platform for certified net negative emission projects. Léonard holds an MSc in Sustainable Development and has over 8 years of experience in sustainability and advisory roles in the Construction, Textile and IT sectors.
Adam is a Senior Manager for South Pole within the Portfolio team. He is responsible for managing South Pole's portfolio of Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDRs) and assists the sales team to offer these credits to their clients. Adam originates and develops business relations globally with project owners, finance providers and technology providers that are implementing technical carbon dioxide removal projects. Adam has led industry working groups with the objective to scale CCS markets globally and has worked to develop the business models for carbon capture technologies across Europe and North America. Adam holds an MSc in Environmental Technology, with a focus on Energy Policy, Blockchain and Carbon Markets from Imperial College London.
