SEB’s Ethical Sweden Fund granted with climate label

South Pole Carbon has granted SEB’s Ethical Sweden Fund its “Climate Impact Transparent Investment” label. Analysis shows that an investment into SEB Ethical Sweden as of September 2014 resulted in 20 per cent less carbon dioxide equivalent emissions than the same investment into the benchmark, SBX Ethical.
South Pole Carbon also found that the fund was twice as climate friendly as the Swedish market index, SIX PX Sweden. “This is our second fund that’s been awarded South Pole Carbon’s climate label this year, and this shows that we’re doing the right thing”, says SEB fund manager and sustainability specialist Anette Andersson.
