Acquisition strengthens South Pole's services as corporate demand for renewable energy hits a record high: Global sustainability solutions provider South Pole has acquired Almach Energy, a UK-based renewable energy consultant and a European market leader for corporate PPA advisory services.
The acquisition strengthens South Pole's ability to serve a rapidly growing renewable energy sourcing market for corporate buyers, especially in the United States, Europe and Australia. As of 2019, over 150 companies have signed up to the RE100 initiative, which brings together the most influential businesses committed to 100% renewable power for their global operations.
