Zurich, October 31, 2022: Suzanne DiBianca, Executive Vice President and Chief Impact Officer at Salesforce, is joining South Pole's Board of Directors.
Ms. DiBianca has a long history of work in the climate, sustainability, and impact investing space. As the lead for Salesforce's stakeholder capitalism strategy, Ms. DiBianca leads the company's global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and reporting with a depth of focus on climate action programs that support the global journey to net zero emissions. Through the Salesforce Ventures Impact Fund, she invests in innovative, diverse cloud companies driving positive change across sustainability, education, equality, and social sector technology solutions.

Ms. DiBianca also serves on multiple councils for the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, has been named one of Inside Philanthropy's 50 Most Powerful Women in Philanthropy, and is a member of the San Francisco Business Times' Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business Hall of Fame.
With Ms. DiBianca on the South Pole Board of Directors, five out of seven board positions will now be occupied by women.

Today's announcement follows the recent announcement of Salesforce's Net Zero Marketplace, launched in partnership with South Pole in September. Net Zero Marketplace is a trusted platform that allows companies to buy carbon credits in a simple and transparent way. It offers buyers a catalogue of third-party rated carbon credits through a seamless ecommerce experience. South Pole is a key inaugural company and a main provider of carbon credits offered through the platform.
