Swiss firm Agolin is aiming to develop feed additives that can reduce methane from ruminants. The Bière-based company is partnering with EU public-private group Climate KIC and greenhouse gas reduction company South Pole Group on the RuMeClean (Reduced Methane from Ruminants) project. RuMeClean is designed to ensure the adoption of feed additives that have a proven potential to reduce methane emissions from ruminants.
The RuMeClean project involves key experts in the livestock and climate mitigation sector. The project members are working with the Swiss Government to adopt a methane-reducing feed additive.
