Climate-themed project developer South Pole has sold minority stakes to Singapore state-backed investor Temasek and the investment arm of cloud company Salesforce.
The capital raised, of an undisclosed amount, will go towards helping Switzerland-based company South Pole scale up its climate solutions in Asia and the US, the firm said in a statement. South Pole told Environmental Finance it could not reveal the size of the investments for strategic reasons.
The partnership between Temasek and South Pole will "enable thousands of companies around the world to measure and benchmark their climate impact, their carbon emissions, and to embark on a journey towards net-zero emissions", South Pole said.
