South Pole Group has become a proud member of the Swiss Water Partnership (SWP), a multi-stakeholder platform focused on promoting innovative, high quality solutions for water challenges in developing and transition countries. Bringing together over 75 Swiss organisations from the academic, civil society, public and private sector, the Swiss Water Partnership aims to support less privileged countries in finding integer solutions to achieve water security for their people and ecosystems.
In line with its work on the assessment and disclosure of corporate water risks and drinking water community projects, South Pole Group will contribute to the efforts of SWP in promoting sustainable and equitable use of shared water resources. The SWP brings relevant Swiss stakeholders working on international water issues together to ensure that SWP members and their partners abroad play a part in furthering the sustainable provision of universal access to safe, affordable and accessible drinking water and sanitation for all.
